SOUFRIERE EXTRAVAGANZA FULL DAY
Saint Lucia is possibly the most lush, verdant and spectacular of the
Windward Isles, and what better way to experience its beauty. Endless
Summer departs from Rodney Bay, which is at the northern end of the
island, thereby giving you the scenery to enjoy.
Once out of Rodney
Bay we turn south and hug the beautiful west coast of Saint Lucia. As
we sail out towards Soufriere you will be enchanted by the tranquil
onboard atmosphere as you glide quietly past the coastal villages.
On arrival in
Soufriere you will disembark on an excursion to the world's only
drive-in volcano the Sulphur Springs. After, it's off to "Villa
Des Pitons", where you will have a stunning view over Soufriere
town and the Majestic Pitons and beyond. Here you will be treated to a
sumptuous buffet where a wide variety of local cuisine awaits
you. Fore the next one and a half hours you may swim in the pool, eat
and dance, while listening to the traditional music of Saint Lucia's
"Chak Band" the "Last of a dying breed".
Once more on the
move to the Tourille Waterfall and the tropical Garden, a taste of
Nature where plunge pool dipping is optional.
On your return to
Endless Summer we depart Soufriere jetty bound for Anse Cochon for
swimming in the clear sparking water or use the snorkeling equipment
provided to explore the beautiful reefs.
Next we tour the
world famous location, Marigot Bay. A bay steeped in history and the
site of many well know films, such as the famous "Dr. Doolittle" and
"Firepower" amongst others.
We sail into Rodney
Bay about 5.00 pm, where your bus awaits to return you to your hotel.
